Mh... let's see, we should probably start with some lore:
Lore: The Fence Is There For A Reason
And now for the update itself. There's a new public test version available. The aim is to give the new Knowledge mechanics (but also the glossary) into people's hands so they can see it and comment on what's there. If you want to participate, the link (as with all of these test builds) is available on our Discord.
But what is this update about, really?
Well, it's mostly about bridging lore and mechanics through structured and systematic character knowledge. It's a vital component of "quests" and conversations.
This is all of the week, it's been actually pretty challenging to pull this off, and we've been struggling with it up until Sunday. The first time the whole data set parsed without throwing an error almost made me weep. But at the very least, it'll be easier to do more of this in the future. This is, after all, just about 1/5 of the lore entries we have condensed into this system.
