Game Origin

About 5 years ago, Flashy Dansy was born as part of a competition, "The Arbitrary Gamejam" or TAGjam 15. This little game, product of a weekend's work, managed to win the competition and receive some remarkable attention (18.000 downloads).

I moved on to other projects afterwards, so inevitably the game was slowly forgotten. 

Present

It was only recently that I decided to push this game a little further. Since it was well-fit for mobile, I chose Flashy Dansy as the first game I would publish on Play Store. Sadly, it didn't see half as much user attention as it had seen upon its original release.

Purely out of nostalgia, I decided to hold on to this game a little more: I made a new level, new character look and moves, and added some improvements. The result is the game that you see in this page.

Future

I would love to see this game evolve further. However, I made the tough decision not to plan further development for the near future. I wish to look after my other projects, such as Stick Veterans, as a first priority.

This doesn't mean I value this game any less; seeing people play this game and have fun with it has been a true reward for me. Below are some YouTube examples. Even if a handful of players enjoy this game again, it will be worth the job for me.
