Road to Conway Update 4

Middle of the month, so we're full steam ahead toward Update 4 of Conway! And while Update 3 was a bit of a minor one given the whole work-to-earn money thing, it meant that for Update 4 I was able to commit the whole month to it again.

So it will be a major addition once again! And a steamy one at that as the attached teaser might suggest. It still was a bit of a struggle that month and some art just took way too long and wasn't even finished in time, but what could you do. Sometimes the art gods just are cruel like that.

So what is to expect in the new update?
First off, we got the major choice and story continuation for day 2, basically like the Dinner choice on Day 1, unfortunately we only have one choice there for now, and that is to pay a visit to that painted dog! What was his name again? Num...Nom...Nomax I think? Weird name. Who'd call themselves that?

His Character artwork is also the first one that got the proper layered treatment. My coding knowledge before starting this game was quite literally 0 and Character artwork just had to get put into the game easily and quickly. So up until this point all of them were just entirely separate images. That of course works if you have a few different ones as we had so far, but as soon as you involve things like nude versions, blushing, this and that with all the different expressions then it just becomes an unmanagable task very quickly. So proper layering had to follow suit at some point and he is the first one of the bunch to receive that treatment. 
That'll allow much more flexibility in the future and of course the other characters will all follow suit.

What else is new...how about...SOUND?! Yeah!
Yep! I was honestly a bit surprised by just how prevalent the requests for sound were honestly. I usually just turn them off myself since I always have my own playlists running anyway, but it's one of the points people ask about pretty frequently. So having some time right before needing to upload it I ended up dedicating that to answering those questions. For now the sound implementation is pretty basic. For the most part just the background ambiance plus a handful of sound effects. I didn't have much time for this, so for now that is all there is to it. But naturally as things progress it'll be expanded upon.

So yeah! I hope you are looking forward to it! The release will of course be the first of the month again, so a little bit of patience is still required.
