WOOHOO! It's finally complete! On top of some miscellaneous layers of polish I also added sound effects, original background music, a "proper" tutorial, and even some rudimentary anti-aliasing for the crunchy, scaled down drawings!
This was a ton of fun, I'm so happy I stuck with the project and completed it. I feel a lot more confident in my abilities as a game dev now, and I learned alot of stuff I can use for my other projects as well!
