We added Physically Based Rendering to the engine, allowing us to work with more realistic lights and reflections.
The boss can now damage and be damaged by the player, and most of its attack patterns have been implemented. The Angel can now die and respawn, making the build closer to be a fully playable loop.
We continued to improve on the placeholder VFX, making them closer to the intended look.
Whenever the player hits an enemy, a combo counter increases. When the player has enough combo points, he can consume all of them to create a ultimate sawblade attack.
We added a soundtrack to our game, kindly offered by Prod. Fipo. The engine uses FMOD to create a layered sound system so that the music intensity gets heavier the higher the combo counter.
We improved the UI system and added them to the build. Boss Healthbar, Character Healthbar and Combo Counter are fully functional and moving towards a presentable state.
