Hello everyone! Since the release of separate Demo mode on Itch, our views have dramatically increased and Android+Gallery Mode also increased our sales a lot.
Initially, I didn’t have much expectations and just wanted to try going on a %20 sale with the APK+Gallery release. Then we decided that we would go for the Steam release if we hit the 100$ goal, which happened in the first 24 hours.
I prefer to take things slow when it comes to releasing a game on Steam, since I want to be sure that the project can succeed there, otherwise just an Itch release is enough for us. But considering how we are doing on Itch, I guess it’s safe to assume our project has a place on Steam. One thing I want to avoid at all costs is the game dropping into ‘mixed’ hell and I don’t have any idea how to improve the game any further without expanding the scope, besides adding proper tutorials. So if you have any complaints about the game, please let me know.
Shyseel here! Super excited about reaching the extra mile on Itch! I have a few things on my mind before we wrap up Dekamara and hopefully begin something even bigger for you guys. I am a little stressed about the Steam release as I have to think of something solid for the visuals but hopefully it will turn out well. Still currently working on a few remaining assets on Kalyzmyr before it officially releases so we can focus all our attention on new projects.
