One of the biggest issues with the demo was the backgrounds. It came up in feedback fairly regularly, and I knew they were a weaker element of the demo. Drawing backgrounds isn't my strong suit, but I'm doing what I can to improve them and make them "fit" with the rest of the VN's visuals. This is also tied into the CGs—UI elements covered important parts of the CGs, but with this framing, that won't be an issue anymore.
