We are happy to say that the production of NWO is moving fast. We are building a new VN engine over the one we made for the original A Life in Silk. But we are focusing on improving the content integration pipeline. This core component of the engine was why we had difficulty delivering the HD version of ALIS. Most of the work on a visual novel is content integration. For instance, adding dialogue, characters, events, and structuring scenes.
But with this new version of our VN engine, we can create new scenes and modify dialogue with minimal effort. Therefore we are to focus on content and less on tech this time. More information to come. We will publish a devlog once a month. At the moment, we are aiming to release the beta this September.
