BunnyPad v4: PrettyFonts Engine
BunnyPadA downloadable Notepad for Windows
Welcome to BunnyPad v4. It introduces the PrettyFonts engine, and now has a more modern/fluent look! We’ve worked hard to get this release to you, so let me go over most of the features it has:
- Pride Month Bonus: It has a bonus dialogue box for Pride Month
- Ability to edit the fonts: Back when BunnyPad was still in it’s early days, PBbunnypower (Bunny) said to me that she wanted to have the ability to edit the fonts. I promised her that I would add that feature in the fourth iteration of BunnyPad. Surely enough, I did just that even though we had to do a complete rewrite of the program. The engine got it’s name because Bunny said “bunny wants pretty fonts”.
- GSYT Productions logo for the credits dialogue box - Designed by RedPCat, we decided to add this into the program while also cleaning up the credits dialogue box
- Fluent Design - we replaced our icons with ones that are more fluent than the other ones were, which makes BunnyPad one of the most unique Python Notepad applications to date.
- Framework for find and replace functionality - While we couldn’t get it working in time, we did lay the groundwork for it, and did include a dialogue box that indicates that the feature is not ready
- Better icon resolution - we reconverted the icon from a 16x16 to a 256x256 icon
- Installer Icon - We made an icon for the installer.
- EULA Implemented - We added an End-User License Agreement to the installer, as well as some information about compatibility
ALSO: BunnyPad is coming to Debian!
- That's right! Thanks to RedPCat and RedcatWare, we're finally getting a **Debian** port of BunnyPad!
