1 vs. 1 Duels ⚔️!

More and different combat!

Introducing the new dueling mechanic! Get close to a player of your choice and invite him for a 1-versus-1 knowledge measuring contest ⚔️! We're starting out as straightforward as possible:

• Available on land only.
• 1v1 format - sweet and personal!
• Each answer results in damage to your opponent! [damage = question difficulty * 5]
• You accepted the duel by mistake (and definitely not just getting rekt)? Press the 'Surrender' 🏳️ button (found above your questions, next to the skip buttons) to end the duel and move on.
• All questions are permitted
• First player whose health ❤️ drops to 0 loses.

Get cracking! 

The introduction of the Duel ⚔️ mechanic also brings about a change, based on your feedback, to the whole question mechanic. Specifically, while sailing. A common sentiment was that there was a dissonance between the action and the difficult questions interrupting it too curtly. Going forward when sailing (by default) you will get: 

• Only questions of multiple choice ✔️
  • No free-hand typing
• With difficulty up to and including 2 [x <= 2️⃣]
  • Future updates might bring about buffs/debuffs which change that formula
• For questions that have suggested answers, you can press the numbers on your keyboard ⌨️ that match the answer box! 1️⃣ for 1️, 2️⃣ for 2, etc.
  • Or Left Mouse 🖱️ click them with your mouse! That will work too!

This change looks to streamline the sailing-combat-but-with-questions experience as well as address this major design issue of players feeling ripped out against their will from the fun, to entertain a game mechanic.

As usual a stack of bug fixes has also been included, and maybe a stack of new bugs introduced. So be on the look-out for old pains being healed ❤️ and new pains being applied 🔥.
