Decker 1.21
DeckerA downloadable tool for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Decker v1.21 is a maintenance release, including several bugfixes and an enhancement to drawing tools.
Fixes (Native):
- Corrected a mistake which was causing outrageously slow GIF export for large images. The same fix may improve performance in other contexts.
Fixes (Native and Web):
- Corrected inconsistencies in the frame delay of GIFs exported via write[].
- Contraption attribute handlers now bind the variable "card" as well as "me" to the target contraption instance, for consistency with event handlers.
New Features:
- The "write[]" function now accepts a dictionary with "frames" and "delays" for GIF export, for symmetry with "read[]", making it possible to customize the framerate of exported GIFs.
- In native-decker, the Style menu now contains "Tracing Mode", which makes the Decker window translucent, making it possible to trace images from windows underneath. The "y" key on the keyboard can also be used to toggle this mode.
