Hello, AP here!
So, yeah, I really hate to say it but we're delaying the game to July 31st. And after all that hype with the opening... blegh.

tl;dr: The main issue is optimization issues on (slightly) older systems. So many nights troubleshooting to no avail... At the end of our rope, we're really considering switching over to another engine (namely Godot), but we'll see if that really helps. We're sure we could make it work in Gamemaker somehow but, agh, the lag spikes are just horrendous with how we've built it.
We're really sorry for yet another delay and really have nothing to blame but our incompetence as devs. If it's any consolation, we're planning to release the new demo (a prologue) this month (also detailed in the update). We'd be so happy if you gave it a shot!
