Notes On Reader Accessibility (Change Font)

Hi everyone! It's Bowser again.

One feature we wanted to include in our game, but didn't have time to, was to give the reader a clear option to change the text font. The font we chose is not the most legible. It was a stylistic choice we made to mimic what you might find on a tomb stone.

If you'd like to change the font to help enhance legibility, here's how you can do it!

• When you're in the game, press "Shift" and "A" simultaneously on your keyboard. This will bring up RenPy's accessibility menu.
• On the menu, you can select "Opendyslexic" from among the Font Override options.
• Be sure to decrease the Text Size Scaling by two (2) steps to ensure the text will still fit in the text box.
• High Contrast Text can also be enabled, if needed.
• Type "Shift+A" once more, or click the "Return" button in the bottom left corner to resume reading.

We'd like to release a patch in the future that'll allow the player to make this change in the game's preferences menu. However, for the My Wolf Game Jam, we're not allowed to make any alterations to our submission until voting is completed.  Once the game jam is over, we'll get to work on implementing a font override feature that's more user-friendly.
