Nothing Dies In Dreamland - Devlog #1 - v1.1.5
Updates:
- A whole new area of play: the warehouse (thanks to my bf, David, for the playtesting and suggestions)
- Added new environment assets and tossable items
- Polished the base Mountain mesh and its textures
- Adjusted the collision shapes I attached to the tree assets I’m using from ElegantCrow’s lovely low poly tree collection. The collision shapes I created for the demo were way too bulky so the Player kept clipping on the branches in such a nasty fashion
- Polished the Game Over menu
- Controls Popup solution / pause menu tweaking
- Added an intro scene prior to Start Screen
Bugfixes:
- (Ongoing) the paintings and some of the fish food kept clipping through the floor and parts of the Mountain mesh. I updated their collision shapes to keep this from happening. Kindly inform me if this happens to any other meshes!
- (Upcoming) I need to work on getting the screen capture function to work in a future update and/or take the function out if it doesn't serve a purpose
