Here's what's been happening since last time:
I've had "some" time to review the spell system since the small playable demo and have come up with a few new ideas. Spells now use a shared spell gauge that charges up over time, every spell has their own cost of this gauge indicated by little markers as you can see here:
This new system will allow for a much bigger change with the whole battle system which I will reveal at a later date.
This is an idea that was meant to be in the original version. The goal of the game is to become powerful enough or earn enough money to complete the main objective of the game. There are 30 in game days until the deadline of the main objective which I will talk about when it's more fleshed out.
There are a certain amount of actions you can perform everyday and one that day ends you will return to the nearby town's inn.
You return to the Inn at the end of each day. At the inn, you can do things to prepare for the next day of fishing:

This is a list of major features that will be added before I consider the game finished (in no specific order):
I feel like its pretty obvious but I don't work on this game super often, this is more just a fun side project for me but I have been procrastinating a lot on it (hooray for being lazy!). I plan to do weekly or maybe monthly updates to hopefully be at least some motivation to work on this even if no one reads them. It's more just to be a log of whats been happening over the course of development. Other than that, there isn't really a planned release window or anything like that so we'll see how it goes.
