Synthesium V1.2

Synthesium V1.2 is the first stable build of the game!

V1.0 was the version made and submitted for Mini Jam 133, and it had many issues, but in the last day V1.1 and V1.2 were finished as well. There were some gameplay changes, a bunch of bug fixes, and general improvements to the balance and structure of the game.

We're going to continue working on the game and hopefully have more cool stuff to showcase pretty soon!

Major changes include:

• Intensified difficulty curve
• Rebalanced enemy spawning (How often certain types of enemies spawn)
• Enemies with the same aspect as you do not chase
• Fixed crashes involving heart generators preventing enemy spawns

Totality of changes

• Title banner and watermark
• Pause menu with tutorial access mid-game
• Adjusted sound and volumes
• Added death sound to enemies
• Loaded music track into memory instead of streaming from file
• Fixed bug causing repeating death sound when player walks off edge of island
