This week I show an early look at the Outlier's Grotto, a persistent garden hub-space which the player can gradually expand, and use to grow gameplay-modifications.
The player is rewarded with seeds and symbiote larvae while playing the game's platforming sections. They can then plant these lifeforms in the grotto, to later harvest gameplay-modifying symbiotes.
This feature is currently in EARLY development, and will see many improvements before its inclusion in the Steam Early Access release.
