Version 1.0.1 update

Diver Down
A browser game made in HTML5

 Hello everyone! I'm not used to writing devlogs, but developing the habit should be a good idea. Also, I plan on releasing some updates for Diver Down as well. There's nothing too new for this update, just some bug fixes and new controls.

Changelog for the V1.0.1 (postjam update)
  • Additions:
    • Added other controls:
      • You still can use Arrow+ZX keys (original control scheme);
      • You now can use Arrow+XC keys;
      • You now can use Arrow+Ctrl/Space+Shift keys;
      • You now can use WASD+JK keys;
    • Added a version indicator. Wait at the first stage for about 10 seconds the see the current game version appear at the top left.
    • Made explicit in the tutorial that it's possible to choose the dive direction.
    • Added a Reset Stage button. To reset the current stage, press Home or Backspace.
  • Bug fixes:
    • Now the player (hopefully) won't be able to glitch the dive direction, and end up diving outside a solid.
    • Now the player shouldn't be detected after a door is reached.
    • Reduced input lag.
