Alright, update time. Once more a day late, but my Monday was difficult, and I didn't have the strength to work on it. Despite that, the previous week was quite productive, which we'll go over after this lore text:
Lore: You Do Not Understand Time
So first off, I did finish processing the facts. I still need to get some writing done for them, but that's the smallest of the issues. Having these facts on hand is quite essential for building content. Due to a lack of anything like it so far, we've already been rubbing up against problems with conversations between the protagonist and other mages. Anyway, it's not a very visual thing, so let's move on.
I've looked at Internet-related mechanics and realised we need some tools to build the kind of integration for the Internet we want. This is more than a static text. It implements error codes and different "malware" issues you might encounter. I've also tested routing to such pages from other pages to make them dynamic.
I've also managed to get through almost a hundred generated images to replace the soon-defunct PlaceIMG service, which we have used to source images for some procedurally generated faux-Internet content.
Finally, I've continued working on the colour-mapped images meant for book covers. We have some rules for what publishers use what options from the document builder, and these are to be used for the Mofu.
Yeah... I'm tired. I'll go rest more.
