Today's update is a big one with new features, lots of play-ability bug fixes and QOL tweaks! The major feature of this update comes in the form of the Word Familiarity System and hi-scores that saved based on users!
Word Familiarity describes a player's ability to re-call words and their constituent Kana. When interacting with a word in Kana Smasher that is related to the question the player will gain a certain amount of "Familiarity" with that word. The converse is also true that if a user interacts with a word that is not related to the question the player will lose some Familiarity. Players can gain Familiarity in 3 ways:
When the round is over the data is pushed to the cloud and any words that you gained or lost Familiarity in will be displayed on end screen. Be sure to scroll down to see all the words and your progress!

With the implementation of cloud saving also brings the Hi-Score system, this will now save your Hi-Score for each JLPT level so you can have a score to strive to beat while increasing your Familiarity! With this also comes some playability bug fixes and QOL changes, read below.
