Steam Demo Launch
First of all, with this Update Crab Raid Tactics Demo is going Live on Steam!
There has been a lot of improvements to game's Steam page. Tags were reworked completely, and all the capsules were updated. Still, not a work of a professional, and we'll get to that - for now, this should significantly improve game's discoverability. To what extent - remains to be seen. I'll be keeping a close eye on those impression graphics.
Change Log
- Morale system was reworked.
- Crabs do not leave the raid any more
- Morale is spent on respawning crabs in the middle of a fight
- Respawning happens twice as fast (5.0 seconds instead of 10.0)
- Crabs respawn with 100% HP (25% HP previously)
- If the moral is 0, Crabs only respawn when the encounter is complete
- The game does not end when all crabs are recovering, but the moral is still higher that 0
- Monsters
- The boss fight with Captain Slimebeard now correctly ends when the boss & enemies are defeated. remaining barrels now get destroyed instantly when that happens.
- Healing slimes finally learned some manners and stopped healing totems, barrels and each other
- UI
- The Boss UI now shows the correct number of "Enraged" stacks on the boss - each stack gets a red "!" on it's portrait. Still not very visible and intuitive, though, so I'll be improving on it further. The entire boss UI was a quick hack and needs refactoring.
- Crab widgets now have fixed size independently of what state they are in (Alive/Recovering/Low Morale)
- Performance
- Added settings auto-detection on first launch (Still requires testing)
- Other
- A number of projectile-related issues got fixed
