Managed to get a new and improved build out before a long weekend break.
Still missing sound, some textures and few 3D items. On occasion the view still absolutely refuses to turn with the player and I have no idea why. Drives me crazy. Then again so did everything else I programmed this week but I got there in the end. I've gone from feeling like a complete failure to actually being really really proud of myself and what I've managed to accomplish.
GameDev, man, what a rollercoaster.
