New Update!
I've been working hard to address issues with the first version. It's been a little over a week, most of the progress happens on the weekend. Quite a lot of changes have been made!
v0.6 Release Notes:
- New Dwarf Character
- New Weapon: Axes
- New Mobs: Rooster, Goblin, Dwarf Skeleton, Dwarf Zombie
- Save various game stats (kills, gold, deaths, etc) and Load
- Unlock characters (starts with Elf Warrior only)
- Choose character instead of just random
- Show the health of the player as numbers in the UI
- Chicken leg health pickup (currenly only dropped by chickens and roosters)
- Another bigger health pot
- Barrels with goodies (chests that are only opened by damaging them)
- Chests can also be opened with damage
- Reworked the currently only map, no more invisible barriers, more interesting (hand crafted)
- Added special encounters on the map
- Enemies now ignore all level bounds colliders (for now)
- Added brief breaks between some waves
- Tweaked hit boxes and damage of enemies
- Added a few sfx, reworked sound system. Changed player death sound (for now)
- Made level up menu go in succession if you got enough xp to level twice (or more)
- Upgrades screen with provide health and/or gold choices when you run out of weapon/item upgrades
- Fixed issue with upgrade screen where it would be blank even though you had choices still
- Fixed fireball spell was not working
I still have a lot more to add, and some hopefully cool ideas to add my twist to the Survivors-Like genre :)
