Demo update! Feedback implemented
New version based on the feedback received during the Feedback Quest jam!
Change log for demo ver. 0.0.3
- Added a tutorial at the beginning to better explain battle mechanics and controls.
- Stats cost increase every 10 points to prevent abusing the Strength stat on the long term.
- Added items to permanently increase stats to balance for the change above.
- Enemy only respawn when leaving a main area to encourage exploration from the beginning.
- Revamped the caves tilesets walls graphics to make it different from outside instead of just palette swap.
- Streamlined a number of mechanics in the background.
- Added darkness to prevent entering the woods right from the start so players focus on saving the peddler early on.
- Updated the plains music so it’s less grating.
