General update - A little late

Slyggdrasil
A downloadable game for Windows

Hello and apologies,

I had planned to post this update last week but became overrun with other activities that needed to be completed. I have completed building the landscape for the game's testing scene and have walls that can be interacted with and slid down.

In hindsight, I could have used more time implementing the bouncy mechanic against the walls to match more of my planning documents, but this slipping mechanic is the best I can do when starting off the mechanic development.

I have also started some music production and I'm currently looking at possibly involving a style like Brothers of Metal's intense music. Then again, this kind of thing may need to be put on hold so I can get the base game finished and ready for testing.

One more thing, I have been working in my free time to make good-looking animations, such as this jumping animation I have made for the green slime.

Again, this kind of thing may be put on hold so the finished base game can be completed and ready for testing.

I've spoken a lot now about the game being "Ready for testing", that is because I now have a date for when the game should be complete, ready to assess and put through an alpha testing phase.

At the latest, this date is 01/06/2023 (or 06/01/2023 for the American date). I look forward to giving more updates in the future and hope that this kind of lateness will not repeat.

Amethyst Goblin.
