Yes, I've still been playing this game, and I will not stop playing it until I reach level -25.
The change is simple - now, when you beat a level, you gain the floor(sqrt(the current level)) upgrade points.
E.g. if you finish floor 4, you get 2 upgrade points, if you finish floor 9, you get 3 points, etc.
This should make it easier for me.
And, if not... I guess I'll be making this game even easier for myself.
