I've finalized all of the formalities and have started development of Byte-Sized Betrayal. It is going to be a fun, light-hearted mystery. The intro cutscene and first room are just about done and then I can move on to creating the rest of the office and its zany inhabitants. I plan on monetizing this game once it's released, so that means it's going to take longer to procure assets and whatnot, but it will be worth it in the end.
I'm going to be using DreamAI to generate the backgrounds (https://beta.dreamstudio.ai/generate) and Simple Pixel Character Maker by dí (https://dcd3b2.itch.io/spcm) to create the characters, which, I then import into Photoshop for coloring. I'm using Adventure Game Studio as the game engine. It's easy to use and pretty powerful, at least for what I want to do.
