First Release of the Demo!
WE ARE READY TO LAUNCH!
Thanks for those of you who have tuned in! I still have a bunch of back-logging to do, but I'm happy to say (that despite my poor documentation) I am ready to release the first build of the demo! It's been a crazy few months (and a crazier past couple of days), but I feel it is at a good place to release to the public.
Thanks to my amazing playtesters who have helped me find some game-breaking bugs and important UX considerations <3
Without them, these problems probably would have scurried away into the aether.
UPDATES & BUG FIXES:
- Fixed some controllers "double-clicking" and not being able to access some menus.
- Added a "How to Play" section to help out the newbies.
- UI adjustments to be more consistent across the game and with common user experience expectations.
- ESC now opens the menus (and not the spacebar like a psychopath o_O)
- Fight audio will no longer persist across menus.
- The network pointer is now visible so you can now see which side you are on online.
- When selecting training mode, you no longer need to use a separate input method to select Player 2.
- Added audio to a successful stun attack for a better indication of what happened.
KNOWN BUGS:
- On a clash occurring, P1 cannot hit a P2 AJ Vera with a jab (mid-attack) and must use another attack in order to fix it.
- In training mode, button 4 is registered as an input although there is no attack bound to it.
- Controller remapping UI has some overflow in certain scenarios.
- Sometimes a player can "combo" although this is not intentional.
