I've finally managed to make some progress on getting my controls switched over to Unity's new Input System.
I haven't had quite as much time to actually work on the project recently, and the few moments I've tried looking at the new input system hadn't exactly been very fruitful, shit's confusing. But I've finally managed to get something basic set up in some tests that I should be able to hook the rest of the controls up to.
Unfortunately, something along the road to switching things over does appear to have broken some parts of the targeting system, which admittedly needed some more work anyway.
