The controls for Verty have been redesigned a little bit, so it can accommodate touch gestures on mobile devices. It also now takes mouse input instead of keyboard on non-touch enabled desktop systems. If you preferred the original, v1.0 is still downloadable and is essentially the same game, just without mouse / touch capabilities.
EDIT: On my Android phone the screen is slightly cut off on the right. It's still playable, but the text and start button go off the side a bit. I'll try and work on a fix for this soon.
