FINALLY

I FINALLY FIXED IT! THE TUTORIAL LEVEL HAS BEEN FIXED. 

So all I had to do was make a scene and attach a script to it that immediately opens the main menu, then list that scene after the tutorial scene in the build manager. You see the thing is, I actually have done this before! But due to whatever reason the tutorial level kept ending immediately upon running it. The mysteries of the Unity engine!
