Lykaois
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android

Hello folks! First and foremost I want to say thank you for the outstanding turnout of My visual novel "Lykaois." I was not expecting it to have such a hit in it's first week! Like guys:

-over 1,400 downloads.

-Almost 10k page views.

-added to over 200  collections on people's itch.io.

That's insane! You all are insane and I love it I just want to take you all in my big ass arms and squeeze ya haha anyway thank you again for the showing love and support. Now as the title states, I want to bring up on how I plan to release upcoming builds.  As I continue to work on build 1.5 as we speak, I've come to conclude the best way for me to release each update is in parts within the chapters. For example, Chapter one part one was build 1.0 right? So meaning chapter one part two will be build 1.5. Now I did mention in my previous post that I would add the beginning of chapter two in build 1.5. But Chapter two will consist on a lot of new things varying from possibly new characters, new sounds, music, and cutscene for those special moments in the novel. (What do they call those moments? CG cutscenes right? I always thought that meant like animation. Maybe I could be confused.)  So as to not overload me and to help me put out updates at a more steady pace, I decided to leave chapter two for build 2.0. Plus it'll also make it easier for you guys to know how far long the story has progressed based on the build and where it stands. Build 1.0=Chapter 1, build 2.0=chapter 2, etc.  (Totally did that on purpose...lol)

Now If I ever release a build that has something like this: 1.5.5. Then it means it's a build that hasn't progressed story wise (even though I'll be making progress) but has had ton of polishing done to it. Spelling mistakes, maybe some added dialogue to a conversation or moment that seems to brief, updated sounds and music, moved somethings around etc.  A little clean up per say.

Now for twitter talk. I'm only mentioning it because although I'm on my phone half the time due to my crazy life, Itch.io is mainly made for computer use. It doesn't have an app (that I know of.) and trying to navigate on my phones browser can be a nightmare since I can't see everything that I would on my laptop. So I may post small updates if I'm out and about, respond to your guys questions,  post various artwork, fan artwork, and it'll be easy to answer personal messages well answer faster.  As I get back into trucking, most of my day will be taken up by driving. So that'll leave me with shorter time to work on the novel as it progresses.  But I want folks to be able to know what's going on in the meantime so you're not left in the dark. If something happens where it may heavily delay a update on the novel I will post on twitter AND itch.io with an update as soon as I can. Now of course you don't have to follow me, it's just a suggestion. Just want it to put your minds at ease because I know when I read a really good VN, I GOTTA know when the next update is and what's going on if the author hasn't updated in forever. But I know life happens, and In case something does happen I want yall to know about it.

That should be all I have for you guys for now. Now it's time to get back to working on it!
