Prototype 6
Changes since Prototype 5 :
Gameplay :
- Game is now paused on level-up while the player picks upgrades.
- There’s now a longer time between waves.
- Hearts will only spawn between waves if the player’s life isn’t full.
- All balls are now destroyed in-between waves & they stop spawning until the next wave has started.
- Explosive Balls’ explosions are now triggered upon hitting walls and the player, and not solely on bricks.
UI :
- Upgrades’ UI now appears in front of the game area rather than on the right side.
- Remade the Ball’s UI.
- Balls’ now have cooldown circles around them in the UI.
- Next ball is now showcased with the circle being yellow after it is spawned and until it is launched.
- Added Wave Cleared & Wave Start texts in-between waves.
- Removed the Wave Count in the top left corner. As Waves’ number are now shown at the start/end of waves
Bug Fixes :
- Fixed Balls sometimes bouncing several times in a row on the player
- Fixed Phantom Ball not working properly (since prototype 5).
