If you see in the notes of Lorelei's Limbo, I mentioned that I was making a reimagining of it. This was the game I'm talking about, but this ended up being more than just a reimagining.
Hellancholly was almost done for a while now, maybe even for months, but... well let's just say some personal feelings got in the way. In the end, Hellancholly came out as a good and clean project. I initially wanted to make this paid, since Lorelei's Limbo was paid, and I had more in the back of my mind that I wanted to do with this game but... I didn't want to do those things anymore.
Initially, the tone of this game wasn't as heavy as it is, well, the tone isn't very heavy but I'd say it was much more light hearted. Now, this came out to be the darkest game I've made, by a long slide. While I don't think this game is made to be scary, I can say for sure that there is 1 moment in the game that could keep most people up at night, and admittedly, it even made me freak out a bit.
Even my sister who saw it in passing got really freaked out by it. It's not a jumpscare, but it's something.
