SURVIVING
- IN THE RUINS
- Always choose: What a horrible accident.
- Any reason to climb the mountain except hiking.
- Choose to remain positive: This could be worse. You want to focus on staying positive.
- Calling out or staying silent doesn't matter.
- Choose: What a terrible fate.
- When encountering the first dust choose: You feel. . . strange about this. You can’t put your finger on it, but this feels important. OR You stare at it for a long time, oddly unsettled.
- After exploring Toriel's house and realizing what the "ash" means choose: Nothing for yourself. But maybe something for them.
- When you wake up from Toriel's dream choose: It felt too real to be fake. You think you met a real monster. OR Was that. . . real? You think maybe so.
- IN SNOWDIN
- NEVER EVER LOOK FOR SANS. Play ignorant. The first time MC feels his gaze choose: Dismiss it and carry on.
- In Snowdin, go to the Shop first and make paper flowers. Then go to the other buildings to give flowers to the other monsters. This forces your MC to stay in the village longer to take refuge from a blizzard.
- The first time MC wakes up choose: You stay calm, dismissing any noise as the blizzard
- Then when Sans touches MC's face choose to either nuzzle into it (Start Romance) or ignore it (Forced into non-physical friendship)
- Sleep in the inn and enjoy your next dream. Recommend to meet with bunny first. :)
- Next day while reflecting on these events choose: You can’t stop thinking about the ashes. . . about the monsters. OR It’s sadly beautiful here. OR It’s such a shame you didn’t fall down before this. . . tragedy.
- Very important: On the next screen you must change your CYCLE option to . . . you would have still gone.
- WATERFALL
- Touch the Echo Flowers so you can listen to their stories.
- HOTLANDS
- Go forward first so MC can see the lab and realize it might be okay to live down here.
- Kneel in front of the ashes and have a visible reaction. Choose: Mourn this tragedy. Weep. OR Mourn this tragedy. Silently cry
- CITY
- Make paper flowers. Choose: Go inside. This is important
- BARRIER
- Stay and hug Sans. Choose: You linger. --> Turn around. --> Stare at him. --> Your heart breaks for him.
- Now choose to not end your story there.
ROMANCE ROUTE
- Player must do the above survival guide AND nuzzle into Sans' hand at Snowdin.
- When Sans asks why you came back say it's because of him. Choose: Because of him.
- After you wake up the first time you must CYCLE your choice to . . . Sans?
- In the next passage you also have to CYCLE your choice to: You wish he didn't leave.
- The first time you enter his home, always have one of the following reactions: Wow OR This is. . . sad. OR This does not bode well for his mental state. OR You have an overwhelming desire to start cleaning.
- When you have dinner with Sans you have to bring it up. Choose: You gently bring it up. --> Ask anyway. Is he lonely?
- At the end of the night terror you have to cycle to the option of you confessing to Sans.
- He'll bring it up and now you have to convince him to try anyway. Choose: That's okay. You can be patient. --> You can't. --> You tell Sans you don't mind that he doesn't have the same parts as a human.
- Ta da! You are now dating the slightly unhinged skeleton.
