There’s a strange sound coming from the basement of the church.
As you descend, you find that the ichor corruption is much thicker here. It spreads across the floor and walls like a fungus, and slows your steps.
Further in, you find strange growths emerging from the slime.
Your light causes them to screech and writhe - and you can hear something stirring deeper in the basement.
What is that thing? Are these growths a part of it somehow?
There’s a lot more to discover in the upcoming update for the WaxHeart Ruined Village Demo. The first will be a new monster that can detect you from further away.
