I implemented a few details based on the feedback I received during the playtest.
First, I added a checkpoint in the middle of the level because replaying the whole game was tedious.
Second, the pushing box now behaves properly, it doesn't fly around or do other weird things.
Finally, I changed Ellen's jump settings so that she doesn't slip after jumping. It is now easier to control the jump.
I made a short gameplay video as a presentation, which I will comment on in class.
Notes:
I had a problem with the checkpoint because I wanted to reload the entire level, not just teleport the player. Therefore, the transition point information also reloaded.
Invested hours: about 6 hours
Outcome: build of the Project B game
