Tiled2Unity 1.0.12.3 Released
Tiled2UnityA downloadable tool for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android
Posted July 16, 2017 by Seanba
Tiled2Unity 1.0.12.3 contains the following changes/fixes:
- Unity 4.7 backwards compatibility restored
- Importer will generate a warning if antialiasing is enabled for the current quality settings. This was a common cause of seams between tiles.
- Texel-Biasing is, by default, now disabled. Use the -t or --texel-bias option when launching Tiled2Unity if you need to tuck-in the texture coordinates.
- Shaders no longer use "Pixel Snapping" by default. This too was causing some artifacts when rendering a Tiled map.
- Added some logging that is captured in the editor log while importing a *.tiled2unity.xml file
This build was tested against Unity 2017 which was just released this past week. Good news! No changes were needed.
