Today marks the release of the first playable demo of Battle Tower Royale! I first began this project last October, and I've been gradually working on it in between work and life. The demo is already very far along in development, and a lot of the work that's still being done is mainly polishing, bug squashing, refinement, and adding bits of remaining art and music.
Making this game has been one hell of a learning experience. I still consider myself to be an amateur in all respects, but less of one than when I started. As difficult as being the sole artist, programmer, writer, and musician has been, it's also been extremely gratifying to watch everything come together.
I aim to make posts every week or so detailing the progress that has been made, as well as the work that remains before the full demo can be released. At that point, I will move the alpha to beta and possibly publish the game on Steam for download as well.
