Day 22 Update

Death For Growth

Today was a good one! More little bits of tuning and fixing, slowly making sure NPC behavior is more reliable, and in general making sure little things in the input system are working properly. Lots of little things continue to slip by but I'm slowly figuring out most of the things that need attention.

Either way not feeling tremendously wordy today so I'll just keep it brief! Here's them patchy patch notes!

Changelog:

  • made NPC's properly cycle through their target lists
  • consolidated all calls to change an NPC's target to properly use the SwapTarget() method 
  • fixed allied equip display not closing when pressing tab to close inventory 
  • fixed issue with summoned NPC's not targeting NPC's attacking the player 
  • fixed issue with game temporarily unpausing between menus 
  • fixed instance of item duplication in save system 
  • fixed issue with target hit-count calculations in NPC's 
  • optimized handling of data for hit counters 
  • fixed potential issue with getting stuck perma-parrying and being fully locked out of combat 
  • fixed small issue with parrying being repeatable before a parry completes
