Windows V1.0.2 & MacOS V1.0 Update
This update contains the following optimisations (Both Platforms);
- Baked lighting is now used on Windows
- Square light is used for room illumination
- All other light sources set to static
- Real-time global illumination disabled
- Performance improvements on Windows
- Texture sample re-import on MacOS to help with texture streaming
- Some items are rendered using Nanite on Windows
This update contains the following known issues;
Windows
- Light patches appear more prominently on some surfaces*
MacOS
- General performance drops when looking at environment items at distance / high density items such as foliage
- Items cannot be rendered using Nanite on MacOS platform
*Items in question also appear to have light patches on MacOS, however these are harder to notice compared to Windows
