Making a man walk

The  game is progressing and we need some basic things added. So what's more basic than walking? 
I needed to ensure a man could walk left and right after little malator.

But how could one make a realistic walk?

Now we need to make malator faster tho, poor little thing can't outrun the boss. His little legs aren't helping.

Unfortunately, I needed to make some adjustments on the standing sprite, since the anatomy changed a little as the animation ended.
