Okay! You've been properly warned.

Alright, let's talk about our new direction for character design!

In the past, you've seen how much our creative team values community feedback. We're always striving to put out surveys, take suggestions, and listen to readers on our path to growth in our niche.

We've had a lot of feedback regarding our approach to character design. A lot of it good. A lot of it bad. While it's important that we listen to fans of our story, we also must listen closely to our detractors as well. They can provide key insight into what we're doing wrong and how we can fix it.

So, with all that said, we're on a path to redesigning some characters. This will take some time, so we'll be working on this one-by-one. We'll be starting with Pat.

If you've read my story for any amount of time, you know that Pat is a very important character to me. He's designed to be a character that my late friend (who he's named after) would absolutely love.

However, based on recent feedback, I'm throwing that ALL out the window! Our focus should be to create a character that audiences will love. Not a character that's deep and meaningful to me. (Seem a bit selfish if you think about it.)

In our team's never-ending quest to ensure we're applying EVERY SINGLE piece of feedback and criticism applied to ChoPro, we decided it's best to overhaul Pat's character entirely!

Recently, a reader commented, "OMG, Becky is so funny. What if Pat was like that all the time?" Well, my dear precious angel of a reader, I'm here to make you happy!

So, I decided it would be best to go back and scrap Pat entirely and replace him with Becky! We've already been hard at work making these changes. Here's some sneak previews!

Our team is hard at work sunsetting Pat's entire character, so it'll take us some time. Build 2.3 will feature Becky in all her glory. We're anticipating a release of April 1, 2024.

Thank you all for your patience as we undergo this massive but absolutely necessary change. I can't wait for you all to get to know Becky better.

Take care everyone! Much love to you all! 😸💖

EDIT: APRIL FOOLS! The joke extended on Twitter. If you haven't seen it, we made a couple more post! LINK & LINK.
