Updates and Adjustments
Hey!
It's been a while since my last update... The truth is I had to stop Be Brave, Bob!'s development for a long while due to a number of factors, including moving to a different country and starting a new job.
But I'm back at it, and I have bad and good news! Let's begin with the bad ones:
- I had said that the game would have 9 levels. Unfortunately, I have seen those expectations weren't realistic. First, because I lack the time I would need to do it. Second, because although the floating mechanic is cool, I have realized it is not enough for a longer game, especially one as difficult as Be Brave, Bob!. So, instead of 9, it will have 6 levels.
- As it is going to be shorter than expected, the number of secret areas and minigames will also be less than I had planned.
Sorry about that... But let's focus on the good news now:
- The new levels I'm working on have a cool submarine/sunken boat atmosphere. Take a look at the screenshots below to see it.
- There will be new enemies to test your patience! Also, you'll see some of them on the screenshots.
- It won't take so long to finish the game. :P
So basically, now I'm going to focus on finishing this game, fixing some bugs and graphic issues, and testing it. I already have some ideas for future games, but that's a completely different story.
