This week we had a Beta presentation with industrial guests. We generated a playtesting report and feedback from the past two weeks of playtesting sessions.
Developer Log
- Mar. 21:
- Adding Day2 Coding level
- Add bin arrow to indicate the usage (throw an object from the top)
- Improve the method to get cutter plane, increase code efficiency
- Add autoload mixer, adjust volume settings
- Add cutter edges to all walls
- Add feedback effect when the object is at the correct location
- Make floating text always facing the camera
- Support edge with any angle, introduce a better way to find the intersection point of two edges
- Mar. 22: Beta presentation
- Redo level design for the last half of the first level (SuperView)
- shorten pickup range to avoid skip level
- Adjust intro-level lighting
- Rearrange levels (make EdgeCut level before SuperView Level)
- Adjust the sensitivity of the mouse for windows
- Add a level with transparent walls and a massive lever for EdgeCut

- Mar. 25: Fix bug that slices have duplicated outline materials
