Patch Note V.1.01

Hi, Neo here. With the launch of Ocean Odyssey at the University of California, Santa Cruz's Winter Quarter showcase, we got to meet a lot of new players who enjoyed our game and are excited to see what we will produced next quarter (Spring 2023). Of course, what we showcased were only half of what we had planned at the beginning of the year. As time goes on, we will be adding new features, fixing bugs and glitches, updating designs, and releasing major updates with exciting new bosses and new minions to fight, as well as new adventures we have in store for Miyo. But for now, enjoys these minor quality of life changes.

Minions

• Fixed an issue where minions will clip through the border, causing player unable to reach them. Most particularly with the Archerfish.

Environment

• Updated the Sea and Waves Assets so it looks more natural and continuous.
• Added Control Instruction on the floor of the first room so player can learn the game's control and practice.

Cutscene

• Implemented a "Skip" Button so player can skip the cutscene and more on with the game. 
  • The "Skip" Button will appear after the cutscene sequence begins playing and after the first time player press their mouse.
