Hey everyone!
Godot 4.0 support has been added to Twisted IK 2! This took quite a bit of work, but all of the features work as expected! There are a few strange things with physics (and one of the 3D velvet IK examples) but they are minor and the basic functionality works as expected. All of the IK solvers work on their own independent test scenes for Godot 4.0 just like they do in Godot 3.0.
New uploads have been added for Godot 4.0 support to keep it separate from the Godot 3.X plugins. In terms of features, they are exactly the same currently, though any future developments will occur for Godot 4.0 rather than Godot 3.X, though the Godot 3.X version is not going anywhere and will stay here for download.
The new version, 2.7.0, does not contain any new features at all and is purely just the Godot 4.0 support! The change log is updated to reflect this as well. However, there are a few quirks with Godot 4.X version that are not in the Godot 3.X version:
To celebrate the Godot 4.0 support, Twisted IK 2 is 25% off for the next week!
With Godot 4.0 support added, I am now marking this plugin as no longer in active development. That is not to say that I will not support the plugin and bug fixes for it, but I am no longer trying to actively work on it to add features and such. I will continue to do my best to fix bugs and help resolve issues as they are discovered, so please make sure to report any issues you may have. Just please note that I may be a little slow in responding and fixing issues, as my time to dedicate to Twisted IK 2 is limited.
I want to thank everyone for their help and support with this plugin, and I hope Twisted IK 2 continues to be helpful for everyone who has used it and/or is using it! Please enjoy the new Godot 4.0 update!
Initially when I made this post and uploaded the files, I accidentally uploaded the Godot 3.X version in the Godot 4.X files! Thanks to severedskullz on this set of posts for letting me know of this issue so I could fix it.
