Hello, fellow developers! We're excited to share our latest update with you. As you know, the "uAI Assistant for Unity" has been consistently evolving to provide you with better tools to create interactive and immersive experiences. Today, we're thrilled to announce that we've integrated the powerful ChatGPT 4 by OpenAI into our plugin, enhancing the conversational abilities of your AI characters and assistants.
ChatGPT is a cutting-edge language model that has been advancing rapidly, with the current version, ChatGPT 4, surpassing its predecessors in performance and capabilities. We understand the importance of keeping up with the latest technology, and that's why we've decided to integrate ChatGPT 4 into our uAI Assistant plugin for Unity. This will empower developers to create even more engaging and dynamic experiences within their games and applications.
As many of you will know, GPT 3.5 has a limit of 4k tokens per task. This limit was lifted up to 8k for GPT 4 (8k version). Alongside the 8k version of GPT 4, there is also the 32k-version, which allows up to 32k tokens per task. But keep in mind, that this can be expensive when used excessively.
The process of integrating ChatGPT 4 into our plugin has been smooth, thanks to the comprehensive API provided by OpenAI. We've made several adjustments and improvements to ensure seamless communication between Unity and ChatGPT 4, as well as to optimize performance.
We've updated our documentation to include details on how to use ChatGPT 4 with the uAI Assistant for Unity and on how the AI models differentiate from each other. Visit our online documentation to make the most out of the integration. Also, check out the last devlog for a step by step tutorial how to use uAI.
We believe that the integration of ChatGPT 4 into the uAI Assistant for Unity will significantly enhance the capabilities of the AI assistants. As always, we're eager to see what amazing experiences you'll create using these new tools. Please feel free to share your feedback, questions, and suggestions and stay tuned for more updates!
Happy developing!
