I was 5 and late, mom was behind me, and I was making good ground through the yard in balloon kiddie whites. No time to get the shorts on, the kids on the school bus stared then laughed. Tough it out and face 20 kids or mommy? Hmmm, better to take on 20 kids. I am fast, I escaped, I am on the bus. Why is mommy going up, let me out! Why are some people going up? They don't seem happy. I am fast, I am off, but mommy is gone, so many are gone.
