Even though we had plenty of time to finish the tutorial, I didn't find the time to finish it early enough. I managed to convince myself that I will be able to finish it on Wednesday morning but when I opened Unity I found out that my work didn't save so part of it got lost (fortunatelly not all, the assets got saved, just not the game itself). So this is my lesson to save my work more often (and to start working on things earlier than the day before deadline :)
I struggled a bit with the second part of the tutorial, since there didn't seem to be any forces applied to the column even though I attached the right script. However, when I rewrote the whole thing, it started to work, so this is probably one of the magical problems that get solved by "turning it off and on again" :) (But it is possible that I just set the initial magnitude too low so the effect of the forces was not visible.)
